Legal Insights
Notes on Turkish law for residents and foreign nationals in Antalya.
This section contains informative articles prepared from the questions most often put to the office. Each article sets out the legal framework of a dispute, the procedural stages that follow and the time limits that need attention. The aim is to make visible the questions worth asking before a process begins.
The texts reflect the legislation in force on the date of publication. They are updated when the legislation or the practice of the courts changes, and the publication and update dates appear at the top of each article. The explanations are general in nature and cannot be applied directly to a specific case.

How the Articles Are Prepared
Each article is prepared on the basis of the relevant statutory text and settled judicial practice. References to statutory provisions reflect the legislation in force, and an article is revised where that legislation changes. The articles contain no reference to specific case files, party names or outcomes obtained.
The aim is to let the reader see how a process generally works and which time limits require attention. Because the outcome of a dispute depends on the documents, the assertions of the parties and the assessment of the court, the explanations cannot be applied directly to a specific case. Advice on an individual file should be sought separately.
